InvestiGeek, originally named Investigative Geek, was created in 2020 by a passionate nerd, Shelby Ann Davis. If they weren’t reading, gaming, or watching, Shelby was researching more information behind their favorite fictional works. After enough passionate conversations with friends, Shelby used their other passion, writing, to develop the blog, InvestiGeek.

InvestiGeek exists for fans to continue exploring new horizons in fictional worlds. Many consider fantasy, horror, and science fiction “useless” in academics and professional endeavors. Shelby, however, seeks to study their relevance. They examine the cultural impact, hidden meanings, and much much more.

Over the years, InvestiGeek has grown alongside Shelby. As they have continued evolving their skills in professional writing, marketing, web development, and graphic design, new features were introduced to InvestiGeek.
